Love, Joy and Peace - An Enriched Life

fire-and-colour

Do you know that God loves every one of us? Yes, He does. It is because we are made in His image. You may say that God can't love me because what I have done is so disappointing to everyone including myself.

Jesus said "the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out" (John 6:37). Jesus has no conditions regarding what we have done. He receives anyone who comes to Him. "The one who comes to Me..." means believing in Jesus; that He is the Lord and the Saviour of one's life. This is the only condition He asks of us. Jesus can ask us to believe in Him, because He loves us first. He died for us on the cross for our sins, and He was raised from the dead for our justification.

This is only the beginning of an eternal life - there is more.

God would like us to love Him as much as He loves us. This is my goal to love Him as much as He loves me.

When two people are in love, they just want to spend time with each other. They don't even need to be doing anything, just being in the presence of the person gives them joy. They also would like to do something that brings joy to the one they love. When the person they love has joy, they have joy. This is the type of relationship God would like to have with us.

You may ask, "how could I love God as much as He loves me? I just don't have much love in me." I have asked the same question. I find that I can ask God to give me deeper love towards Him. If this is from our heart, God will honour that and give us deeper love towards Him.

God is love. True joy comes from God. Divine peace comes from God. When I am in deep communion with God, all these eternal qualities are released to me, as they cannot be separated from God. When I have God, I have all of these qualities. This is a joy filled life.

Would you like a joy filled life?
